Tirozinska proteinska kinaza 6 je enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran PTK6 genom.[2][3][4]

Funkcija

Tirozinska proteinska kinazae 6 (takođe poznata kao kinaza tumora dojke, Brk) je citoplazmna nereceptorska proteinska kinaza koja deluje kao intraćelijski prenosnik signala u epitelnim tkivima. Ovaj protein je podložan autofosforilaciji.[4]

Klinički značaj

Prekomerno izražavanja ovog gena u epitelnim ćelijama sisara dovodi do senzitizacije ćelija na epidermalni faktor rasta, što dovodi do parcijalno transformisanog fenotipa. Izražavanje ovog gena je detektovano u niskim nivoima u pojedinim tumorima dojke, do čega ne dolazi u normalnom tkivu dojke.[4]

PTK6 formira interakcije sa STAP2[5] i KHDRBS1.[6]
